Aurora, Illinois will not only be installing Cale parking terminals in their Transportation Center this fall, but the terminals will operate as Pay by Plate, thereby taking advantage of the license plate recognition system they put into operation two years ago. Cale's back office system, WebOffice, will be integrated with the City's LPR camera system and pay by phone provider.
Cale has already partnered with both companies in prior installations making this switchover seamless. The pay stations will accept coin, bills, and now credit cards for those paying at the more than 1,000 parking spaces.
