Lake Geneva Completes Conversion of Pay Station to Flowbird/Cale
The City of Lake Geneva has removed the last of their outdated pay stations and replaced them with touch screen Stealth Cale terminals. These new terminals located at their beachfront accept coin, bills, and credit card payment for accessing their beaches. This application further emphasizes the ability of the Flowbird technology to go beyond parking. The City, their employees, and most importantly their patrons now enjoy the pleasure of the seamless operation of the Cale Stealth touch screen pay station.
Wisconsin Dells Adds to Their Flowbird Parking Terminal System
Apparently Wisconsin Dells is more than satisfied with the Stealth parking terminals that TPS installed for them in 2020. This season they called TPS with an order for five more units. These replace their outdated Digital pay stations that were not performing to their satisfaction. They are already upping their game for 2022, replacing ten more units. They will continue to do so until Stealth only machines operate in their parking system.
TPS Customers Take Advantage of the Elimination of 3G Communications by AT&T
Early in 2021, AT&T informed Flowbird/Cale that all 3G communication will phased out in 2022, requiring their equipment to be converted to 4G. TPS notified all of their affected customers of this as well as the cost associated with this upgrade. However, as an option, they were presented with the opportunity to purchase and upgrade their pay station with a conversion kit that, in essence, converts their machines to the latest and greatest Flowbird CWT (Cale Web Terminal) at 1/3 the cost of new machines. This conversion kit offer includes the 4G modem this year only. Elmhurst, Western Springs, North Chicago, Wheeling, and Fontana, Wi. have taken advantage so far.
T2 Properties Calls on TPS to Collect their Parking Fees
T2 Properties of Chicago took ownership of a parking lot in Chicago’s Chinatown, an extremely vibrant community where parking is at a premium. TPS will be installing a cashless CWT terminal this summer. In addition to accepting credit/debit cards, the pay station will also accept Apple Pay for convenience.
Renew Properties of Algonquin Purchases Cale Parking Terminal
Renew Properties installed a parking payment system only a few years ago and it didn’t quite meet up to the hype that the vendor promised. Because they were desperate to collect parking fees as the businesses were now reopening post-COVID, they contacted TPS. With limited funds a refurbished Cale CWT was installed that met their budget in a matter of weeks.
